Pizza Party nights- it’s all about the humans!

2 dates!

This is a special clinic that will allow you to address your challenges in trials or get help figuring out why things are happening at trials. Taking a break from the dogs skills, most of our challenges in competition center around-

Our planning challenges, what to do when it goes wrong, how to handle others around you- friend or foe, how to get past feelings of failure. How to mentally prepare and physically prepare. How to get your dog mentally prepared. How to split up your days or weekend to maximize your team on course.

Mondays

8:30-9:30am feet forward

Class will focus on moving forward and staying in motion. Often times we slow down or stop trying to manage the dogs and then we get stuck! Let’s learn how to stay in motion and keep our dogs heading on the right path!!

Dogs must be at-least 11 months old.

Dates:  10/23, 10/30, 11/6,11/13

 

9:45-1045am Full course fiesta -Masters

Focus will be on full course work. Having a plan and more importantly executing it from start to finish. Learning how to know your course inside out so you can simply handle the dog when you step to the line

Dogs must be 14 months old and understand all equipment. Dogs should be working at the advanced To master level.

Dates:  10/23, 10/30, 11/6,11/13

 

11-12pm weaves part 2!

It’s time to finish up those weaves. If you’ve been procrastinating or just needing a little help to finish up your training.

Dogs must have started weave training to take this class. It’s time to focus on finishing up all the skills!

12:30-1:30pm Level up!

Dogs in this class must have legs in open to participate.

You’re in open and ready to jump into Excellent! Nows the time to fine tune your teamwork. What’s best choices for your dogs handling ? Mental prep -

What to do when it goes wrong and How to save the run.

NEW CLASS

🔹 615pm-7:15pmAKC Fit 1

This course follows the AKC fitness titling and skills. All sports dogs should have structured fitness and conditioning. Dogs should be fit and strong. Often times in both agility and obedience the failures are not due to training , but simply body awareness or weakness. Learn how to teach simple exercises correctly including proper warm up and cool down before sports.

Dates:  10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6,11/13

Tuesday

9am-10am Learn your dog

Class is specific to each team. Courses may be nested to provide the best level course for each teams needs. Focus will be on the teams needs such as Timing of side changes, We will continue to address the needs of the team- focus, start lines. What motivates your dog. Learn what YOUR team needs to be successful. Dogs must be able to sequence 9-15 obstacles with basic understanding of contacts and weaves.

Dates 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31

 

 

10:15-11:15am Novice to Advanced Handling - for novice to advanced level teams working on advanced courses. Must have full understanding of all equipment and atleast 18 months old.

Wednesday

8-9am Masters

Masters handling!

Dates: 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1

 

9:30-10:30am Trial ready for Novice teams or teams having trouble trialing

Time to focus more on teamwork and less on handling. Let’s get together and work on Teaching you and your dog how to handle distractions, success and failure in the ring!

NEW CLASS🔹1045-1145

Sends! ( jump commitment )

Having trouble getting your dog to stay out on a line? Not quite sure how to do the footwork for a send? This class will break down your dogs jump commitment and then teach you how to get them online and stay online

12-1pm Advanced handling with focus on trial distractions !

Dogs will focus on advanced to master level courses that will include distractions such as ring crew and other fun things to keep their mind sharp and focused. Dogs must have full understanding of all equipment

615-715pm  tweeners mix up

This class will begin jump commitment along with starting our contact training.

Dates: 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1

 

730-830 pm Advanced handling

As the dogs begin to trial, we will focus on the skills and handling needed at the novice and advanced level. Courses will include all equipment and we will address the needs of the team.

Thursday

930-1030 Weaves part 1

Time to start weave poles!

This class will focus on 2x2 methods. We will be using 2x2 poles in a variety of ways to teach weaves. We will not be using channels or wire training for this method

Dates: 10/5, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2

 

3:15-4:15pm -

This class MUST have 4 dogs to be held. Please sign up or tell a friend if they have a young dog starting to trial!

Novice handling

Novice courses learning how to successfully cue your dog on course. Dogs must have full understanding of all equipment

Dates: 10/5, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2

 

4:30-5:30 Pre novice

This class is for dogs who have done basic sequences (2-6 obstacles minimum.)This class is tailored to assist in helping the teams bridge the gap into independent connected handling. Building obstacle focus and commitment and Addressing handling holes

Dates: 10/5, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2

Class will be novice working up to the advanced level signs. Class will focus on getting dogs and handlers prepared and ready to trial. classes will incorporate trial like settings, in addition to focus games to help your dog prepare for the show environments

Friday

8:30-930am Rally trial Ready

This class will be nested class for Rally Novice level students ready to focus on longer courses including advanced level signs.

Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10

 

9:45-1045am Rally trial Ready repeat

This class will be nested class for Rally Novice level students ready to focus on longer courses including advanced level signs.

Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10

 

Super star(t)s

This session will focus more on appropriate age specific conditioning , games your pup should be focusing on. We will begin to get into more awareness using props and begin our contact games along with heeling games for puppies!

Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/3

Time: 11-12:15pm - adding time to account for only having 3 classes this session.

Cost $110 ( will include continued FB group access)

 

 

Foundations 2!

This is part 2 of the program. We slide into wings and teaching our foundation handling on wings in addition to some equipment familiarization with tunnels and tables

Dates: 10/8, 10/22, 10/29

Time: 9-10:30am

$70 ( credit for cancelled class last session)
