Time to ramp things up for novice dogs. Trial like atmosphere will be used to help the dogs begin to focus in more distracting environments. We will also work on handlers having the best laid plans for their dogs

Skills and Drills

focus will be on obstacle commitment and handler execution and timing of side changes and turns on course to ensure your dog had the right information at the right time. Ensuring the dogs are driving the correct lines on course!

Foundation Level 2 part 2

This will be a continuation of the previous session. We will continue to build on our foundations skills needed for agility.

Handling Fine Tuning Novice /Advanced

Dogs must be ready to compete or competing at novice or Advanced Level. Focus will be on Fine tuning your skills to have fast, clean well planned runs. We will address needs of the dogs for competition including focus needs.

Handling Fine Tuning Masters

Master Handling, Dogs will be pushed out of their comfort zone. Courses may also include premier style challenges.

Wednesdays

Agility Fix it!

This class is designed for each team to come and focus on a specific skill they need. Start lines, focus, contacts jump commitment and more. Students must submit their request on skill to focus on each week the Monday Prior to class to allow instructor time to plan.

Weaves time!

Time to tackle the weaves! The class is suitable for all dogs working at any level for weaves or ready to start their training. This will NOT be a proofing class.

Thursdays

Masters Handling

Master Skills and Courses. Students will be challenged to plan and execute courses as discussed in their walk through. Dogs must be able to perform all obstacles with confidence including contacts and weaves.

Time: 2-3pm

Foundations 3- Contacts and weaves time!

Focus will be on bridging the gap between foundation handling , and equipment familiarization Focusing on contacts and weaves.

Dogs must be at least 10 months of age.

Teamwork Learn your dog:

Class is specific to each team. Courses may be nested to provide the best level course for each teams needs. Focus will be on the teams needs such as Driving lines, Fine tuning Timing, Adding verbals, Running longer courses with Confidence. learn what YOUR team needs to be successful. Dogs must be able to sequence 9-15 obstacles with understanding of contacts and weaves.

Rally Novice continued

Students will be required to help set up any courses needed. This class will be an intro to Rally. You will learn the rules of Rally, how to perform a "Course" . Each week we will focus on specific signs, at the end of the session, we will combine the signs for a rally course. This is for beginner teams or Experienced handlers with new dogs.

Fridays

Rally Level 2

Focus will be on Performing Rally signs in a course set up. We will address specific signs each week built into the course. We will also address focus needs for competition and Heelwork challenges you may have.

Contacts and weaves drop in sessions

This class is appropriate for anyone who has started their contact and weave training with me. Anyone who is new to contact training with me will need to get special permission to join this class. This class will focus on progressing your contacts and getting them done!

Tricksters Level 2 ( AKC intermediate and advanced title skills)

Taught through CNY Pet Training

For: Dogs 5 months and older

When: Tuesday, June 22nd at 8:00 pm

Length: 6 weeks

Prerequisite: Tricksters – Level 1

Cost: $150 + tax

Where: K9 Crate Escape (see map)

What we cover: This class builds off of Level 1 and will continue to introduce new tricks each week including but not limited to: Roll Over, Crawl, Balance on a Ball/Barrell, Leg Weaves, Ride a Skateboard and Close a Door.

Tricksters Level 1 will give you the option to title for the American Kennel Club (AKC) Intermediate Trick Title.
