Time to ramp things up for novice dogs. Trial like atmosphere will be used to help the dogs begin to focus in more distracting environments. We will also work on handlers having the best laid plans for their dogs

Master Level Coursework
Focus will be running Master Level Courses . Confident plans, execution. Run it clean!

Drills for a responsive dog!
focus will be on skills that help your dog respond to your cues quickly and correctly! Does your dog come of a line you’re driving or not “go” when you ask? Does your dog turn wide on wraps or collection cues? Turn the wrong way on Rear crosses? Go wide on side changes? The class will focus on helping you and your dog understand the cues and execute the skills quickly and correctly
Appropriate for Novice to Masters.

Jumps level 2-
This will be a continuation of what we focused last session. This session we will focus on jump training- building value and basic handling on wings and one jump.

Handling Fine Tuning Novice /Advanced
Dogs must be ready to compete or competing at novice or Advanced Level. Focus will be on Fine tuning your skills to have fast, clean well planned runs. We will address needs of the dogs for competition including focus needs.

Handling Fine Tuning Masters
Master Handling, focusing on your teamwork and trialing like ton train

Tuesdays
Teamwork Learn your dog:
Class is specific to each team. Courses may be nested to provide the best level course for each teams needs. Focus will be on the teams needs such as Timing of side changes, We will continue to address the needs of the team- focus, start lines. What motivates your dog. Learn what YOUR team needs to be successful. Dogs must be able to sequence 9-15 obstacles with understanding of contacts and weaves.
Dates: Tuesday 8/24, 8/31, 9/7, 9/14   Time: 845am-9:45am

Skills and Drills
focus will be on obstacle commitment and handler execution and timing of side changes and turns on course to ensure your dog had the right information at the right time. Ensuring the dogs are driving the correct lines on course!

Ring Ready!
Training to trialing can be a challenge for many teams. Your dog may become concerned about the environment or get so excited they can’t think. This class will focus on building the dogs performance in training to transitioning that same performance in a trial. This class is appropriate for Novice To Masters. Dogs must be able to perform 10-14 obstacles including contacts and weaves.

This and that!- obstacle performance
Trialing our dogs takes focus and confidence in the teams skills- the dogs also need to have completed understanding of each individual obstacle! Class will focus on several key obstacles- weave performance , teeters, tables and contacts. Dogs should have basic understanding of each obstacle. We will teach the dog the finer details and how to do them in a trial like environment.

Masters Handling
Master Skills and Courses. Students will be challenged to plan and execute courses as discussed in their walk through. Dogs must be able to perform all obstacles with confidence including contacts and weaves.

Foundations - Putting it together
Focus will be on bridging the gap between foundation handling , and equipment familiarization Focusing on contacts and weaves.
Dogs must be at least 10 months of age.

Teamwork Learn your dog:
Class is specific to each team. Courses may be nested to provide the best level course for each teams needs. Focus will be on the teams needs such as Driving lines, Fine tuning Timing, Adding verbals, Running longer courses with Confidence. learn what YOUR team needs to be successful. Dogs must be able to sequence 9-15 obstacles with understanding of contacts and weaves.

Rally Novice/Advanced continued
Students will be required to help set up any courses. You will learn the rules of Rally, how to perform a "Course" and introduction to intermediate and advanced signs. We will begin to transition dogs to less food rewards as well. Each week we will focus on specific signs, at the end of the session, we will combine the signs for a rally course.

Friday
Rally - prep for show time
Focus will be on Performing Rally signs in a course set up. We will also address focus needs for competition and Heelwork challenges you may have.

Contacts and weaves drop in sessions
This class is appropriate for anyone who has started their contact and weave training with me. Anyone who is new to contact training with me will need to get special permission to join this class. This class will focus on progressing your contacts and getting them done!
